On the other hand, UArts went up a notch! Stay classy.

Okay, first thing's first, I do not like the comic 'Marvin'. I believe it is a dark pit on the comics page where humor goes to die (actually, there are quite a bit of comics I think this of). Since it basically consists of potty humor and jokes for new mothers, I can safely say that I am not in the target demographic for this comic and probably shouldn't be reading it anyway. However, today I did and found it extremely offensive.

Puppy mills are not funny. They are a cruel, nightmarish, and inhumane way of making money by breeding dogs with no thought of their health. Marvin was never a funny comic, but using "I was born in a puppy mill" as your punchline is just low. Unless you're going to go off on an anvilicious rant about the wrongs of animal abuse (which would be extremely annoying in a daily comic, but at least justify the line), just cancel your comic. Even your week long "You know you're pregnant because your fat" jokes were better.
